The Cotswolds is home to a fantastic range of food and drink producers. The annual Cotswolds Food and Drink Fayre (October 19th-20th 2019) champions all that is great about local produce from the region. From cheese and chutneys; to cakes, biscuits and pastries; to ciders, perries, beers, wines and gins, the Fayre has something to tantalise all taste buds.
Up to fifty of the area’s finest suppliers display their wares at Toddington and Winchcombe stations on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway (GWSR) line. There’s plenty of artisan food and drinks to sample, as well as some delicious Christmas gift ideas.
Whether you decide to start your foodie journey in Cheltenham, from the racecourse or Toddington, parking is free. So, hop on board a train to enjoy all the fun of the food and drink fayre!
Trains run on the GWSR line throughout the year; click here to find out more about other ways in which to experience the delight of a day out exploring the Cotswolds on a lovingly restored steam train.
