We love this Secret Space because…
It has a roof terrace! With views of historic St, Mary’s MInster, the roof terrace really is a hidden gem in the heart of Regency Cheltenham. Accessed from the Third Floor Gallery, it adds a real ‘wow’ to summer events.
The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum not only houses several collections of international significance, but it’s also got some quirky event spaces too. So, from the de Ferrieres Community Gallery to The Friends Gallery, the arty-feel flows throughout. Making this a really cool event venue that will inspire and wow all.
The Third Floor Gallery – capacity 80
This blank canvas space can be transformed into a pop-up cinema with sofas and bean-bags. Or perhaps you’ve always wanted to hold your own art exhibition? The white-washed walls create a light, bright space to hold a business meeting too. And with the bonus of direct access to the roof terrace, this event space is bound to be a hit whatever your event.
The Friends Gallery – capacity 80
Housing the founding collection of fine art from Baron de Ferrieres, the Friends Gallery is available for private event hire in the evening. So, if your event needs a sophisticated feel then this space could be just perfect. Think canapé reception and a private viewing of this amazing collection for a client event to remember.
Foyle Learning Centre – capacity 40
Of course, as you would expect from an art gallery, there’s studio workshop space available for groups to get painting, sculpting or even music making. So why not get arty? Bond with colleagues as you discover who’s got real flair. Or as something that little bit different to do as part of Hen Weekend?
Part of The Cheltenham Trust, The Wilson is a truly unique venue to host your event; big or small, corporate or private. The team here are able to create bespoke packages that really fit the picture. And with food created by Glorious Events too, you’re guaranteed that your canapés will be as delicious as they are artistic
