Pensons, as featured in Elle decoration, has been recently restored to provide a contemporary and luxury venue for a variety of events and fine dining experiences. During the renovation, the venue worked with local artisans and craftspeople to create unique pieces for the restaurant. All the fabrics including the dining chair seats and napkins were made in the estate weaving mill and the steak knives were forged by a blacksmith neighbour. Even the lampshades were made by a local basket maker using willow from the adjacent wood.
Pensons restaurant can be hired on an exclusive use basis with a capacity of 38 guests seated in the main restaurant. The restaurant also boasts a wonderful outside terrace which overlooks the rolling countryside and fields behind. Menus consist of seasonal produce and ingredients all yielded from the estate and the local area.
Private Dining Room
Up the wooden and glass stairs in the Pensons restaurant there is a private dining room which seats a further 16 guests which is perfect for an intimate meal with clients.
The Gallery has also been recently completed, with capacity for 20 seated or 40 standing. It is a very versatile and unique event space suitable for corporate hire, board meetings, product launches, exhibitions and seminars. Outside there is a small courtyard, which can be used in fine weather and would be ideal for a drinks reception or networking events.
