Cool and contemporary, The Clarence Social is a place to see and be seen in the heart of the Regency town of Cheltenham. With beautifully designed spaces over three floors, it also offers great flexibility when it comes to planning an event. From the speak-easy bar in the basement to The Mezzanine restaurant, from breakfast through to dinner; The Clarence Social provides a funky backdrop for meetings, workshops, and parties.
Meetings all through the day
The floor to ceiling windows flood the ground floor and The Mezzanine with great natural light, making The Clarence Social a stylish alternative to holding a meeting in an uninspiring hotel conference room. There is a big screen and AV equipment available for presentations and product launches too. Open from 06:30 am, it’s also a great venue for local networking groups seeking somewhere just that little bit different for their next breakfast meeting.
Lunch meetings in the mezzanine level restaurant benefit from lots of natural light and its own private bar. Or for smaller groups the basement bar, Croft and Jones is a more intimate environment.
The basement bar is also popular for private parties; but can you work out which book to pull for the door to open? This secretive space is ideal for milestone birthday celebrations or hen parties looking for a hip venue to impress their guests. Simply enjoy drinks and canapés, or how about a cocktail masterclass or your very own private movie night?
Private dining space
Capturing the buzzing atmosphere from the ground floor bar, The Mezzanine restaurant is a great space for up to 30 people for a social dining experience.
It’s all yours
If you are looking for a venue big enough to hold a work Christmas or summer party, or perhaps a charity event, The Clarence Social can accommodate up to 250 people over its three floors. There are lots of choices too when it comes to food and drinks; from bowl food to canapés and bar tabs and drinks tokens. Just ask the team and they’ll be happy to talk through what’s best for your event.
