The Ivy Collection of restaurants dates back over the last century, with the first restaurant opening in London’s Covent Garden in 1917.
In 2017, The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie opened its doors in Cheltenham, taking over the iconic Grade 1 listed Rotunda building.
With a statement circular bar, dark oak polished parquet floors, 1930s Art-Deco details and antique brass lighting, The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie oozes glamour and brings a touch of elegance to any event or gathering.
The restaurant has a maximum capacity of 300 and is available for exclusive hire.
Ideal for all occasions
The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie is a venue that prides itself on service. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted by friendly staff at the reception desk who will take your coat and guide you to your table.
Whether your event is large or small, The Ivy’s dedicated Events Manager is on hand to make your occasion one to remember and can assist with any details including music, floral arrangements or table design.
The venue comes equipped with an in-built sound system available for background music, or your own playlist. Non-amplified live music is permitted, and a screen is also available if required.
The Papworth Room
Situated at the back of the stunning Rotunda building is The Ivy Montpellier’s private dining area, The Papworth Room. It is able to accommodate up to 24 guests on one long table, 30 guests across three rounds, or 40 guests for a standing reception.
The Papworth Room celebrates Cheltenham’s racecourse heritage with artwork that adorns the walls alongside pale yellow fabric panels. The versatile, intimate space can be used for both seated and standing events, with menus to suit any occasion.
The private dining area is available for use seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course – drinks, canapés and cocktails!
